Summary:
Works under the supervision of the pharmacist and pharmacy manager to support dispensing functions, pharmacy operational maintenance activities, inventory management, patient care activities, and to meet regulatory compliance. Serves as a trainer and mentor to pharmacy technician and students.
Responsibilities:
Supports the pharmacy manager with staff training and onboarding.Provides patient assistance program support by assisting with documentation requirements, copay assistance, and other duties as necessary or assigned.Supports pharmacy manager and pharmacist with clerical and administrative functions.Performs cross functional duties of Pharmacy Technician I.Performs activities related to pharmacy technician scope of practice.Maintains automated dispensing systems as needed.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (ACPHT) – Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), Certified Pharmacy Technician Exam (EXCPT) – National Healthcareer Association (NHA), Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) – State of Florida (FL)
Additional Job Information:
Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of experience.
