PhD in Chemistry: Electrochemical Main Group Redox Catalysis
This project will investigate redox catalysis using the p-block elements. The field of main group chemistry has seen a renaissance following the observation that the main group elements can behave like the transition metals in terms of small molecule activation and catalysis. This project will involve the synthesis of main group compounds and their applications in catalysis directed to organic synthesis.
