Physiatrist

General Summary

In collaboration with the WSRH Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation and WSRH VP Medical Affairs, provides Physiatry services, diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and protocols, etc. and within the practitioner’s particular clinical specialty area, licensure and competency level.

WellSpan Health in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking a PRN Physiatrist, or an Internist with rehabilitation experience, to help with weekend call coverage every 3- 4 weeks. Be part of a team of Physiatrists covering inpatient rehab units in Lebanon and Ephrata, PA.

Position Highlights:

• Call coverage on a rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend – 5pm Friday to 7am Monday
• 8-bed rehab unit at Ephrata Community Hospital and a 14-bed unit in Lebanon
• Average total census at both locations combined is 14
• Position includes possible weekend admissions
• Our Physiatrists meet virtually every Friday before weekend call begins

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a Pediatric residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Administrative skills.
