Responsibilities

Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking to add a Full Time Physician Assistant to our team at our West hospital in Nashville, TN.

• With 541 licensed beds, this hospital provides adult specialty care to the more than two million residents of Middle Tennessee, Southwestern Kentucky and Northern Alabama
• Comprehensive stroke center – The largest adult cardiac surgery and most comprehensive structural heart program in the region
• Saint Thomas and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) have an established partnership in Middle Tennessee for training medical residents in a variety of specialties including internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and general surgery.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Tennessee Committee on Physicians Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
