Physician Assistant – DHK Ambulatory Surgery – Flex/Rotational

The PA will be responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space. There may be opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room as well. The position includes coverage for multi surgical specialties including:

• General surgery
• Urology
• ENT
• Ophthalmology
• Breast surgery
• Podiatry
• GYN
• Orthopedics
• Plastic surgery
• Spine surgery
• Robotic surgery
• Interventional Radiology

In addition, the PA is expected to work in the in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to recover and treat any acute medical issues. 

This position is for 10 hour 4 days shift rotation from 7am to 430pm (Monday to Friday) with flex rotation to late float shift from 1030am to 8pm shift. This position can also be converted to a 12.5 hour 3 days/week rotation as needed.

Preferred Criteria

• At least 1 year of surgical, IR and PACU experience

Required Criteria 

• Graduate of an accredited PA program
• Current NYS PA licensure
• NCCPA certification
• DEA Certification
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification

Salary Range:

$147,000-$186,000/Annual
