WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Gynecology Oncology Surgery Physician Assistant preferably with 2+ years of experience to join our team at Franciscan Physician Network Gynecologic Oncology Specialists located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our Gynecologic Oncology Specialists group specializes in treating early stage and the most advanced and complicated cancers, including cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, vulvar cancer, and endometrial cancer. Interested candidate will be joining an established, busy practice.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in surgery, inpatient care and gynecological care as a Physician Assistant, with focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Full-time schedule (4 days/week): Time will be split between clinic, inpatient rounding, and surgery
• Clinic hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Surgical schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., 2 – 3 days per week
• Weekend call rotation: 1:6
• Weekend call hours: Friday 5:00 p.m. – Monday 8:00 a.m.
• Average outpatient volume: 8 to 10 patients per day
• Average inpatient volume: 2 patients per day
• Average surgical volume: 3 surgical cases per surgical day

• Master’s Degree – Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) – American Heart Association – Required
