WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with nearly 500 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. We are currently seeking an Advanced Heart Failure physician to join our expanding cardiology group in Wake County and the surrounding area. This opportunity provides leadership within the shock team, build a program in Cary and the opportunity to grow an existing mechanical circulatory support program. Our practice is supported 24/7 by a tremendously skilled group of advanced practice providers, a world-class cardiovascular surgery program, and comprehensive critical care services. Our group participates in all major national databases and registries as well as a wide spectrum of cardiovascular clinical trials.
Qualified candidates must be BE/BC. The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APP’s within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices and WakeMed.
