Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group, a partner with JPS Health Network, is seeking a motivated and ambitious provider to join Acclaim Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) of the Hospital Medicine Department as a Full Time Hospital Medicine Physician.

As the county hospital system, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years. This is a wonderful opportunity for innovative and passionate individuals to treat complex medical issues to patients that need it most. In addition to the nourishing and rewarding clinical atmosphere, JPS is an urban teaching hospital with a long history of training physicians and medical students. Currently JPS offers 18 residency and fellowship programs, all taught by DFW Top Doctors.

Position Description

33 total beds

Day Team Staffing:1 Physician and 1 APP / Night Team Staffing: 1 APP

Physician Shift:7AM-5PM

Average daily census 12-18

No call/RRT responsibility or critical care responsibility

Closed ICU; Intensivists & pulmonologists handle critical care matters and RRT (Hospitalists only do courtesy rounding in ICU)

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

Must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an approved college of Medicine/Osteopathy

Must be board-eligible/certified physician in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Have or be eligible for Texas Medical License

Required Licensures/Certification

Must have current Texas Medical License

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Unrestricted DEA

Essential Functions of the Role:

Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results

Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
