Job Summary:

Acclaim Multi-Specialty Group has an exciting opportunity for experienced Physicians to join the Community Health/Primary Care Float Team. The Float Team supports 11 JPS Patient-Centered Medical Homes throughout Tarrant County, collaborating with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Advanced Practice Professionals.

We are looking for providers who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy a challenge, and can seamlessly transition between different clinic settings. If you love working in a fast-paced outpatient setting and are enthusiastic about serving the residents of Tarrant County, this position is for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide same-day or scheduled coverage for providers on PTO, medical leave, or other absences.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in primary care and outpatient settings.
  • Travel to multiple clinic locations based on real-time staffing needs.
  • Work collaboratively with clinic teams, including nurses, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure timely and accurate EMR documentation and adherence to clinic protocols.
  • Deliver patient-centered care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Other duties as assigned

Applicants must be willing to travel within one or more of the following regions:

Central Fort Worth

Southeast: Fort Worth, Arlington

North: North Richland Hills, Watauga, Diamond Hill

West: Azle, Como, Southwest Fort Worth

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited college of Medicine/Osteopathy.

Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:

  • Texas Medical License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty.

Preferred Education/Licensure/Certification and Experience:

Preference is given to those candidates who have shown leadership experience or potential.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

  • Ability to respond to same-day coverage needs with short notice.
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple clinic sites within the assigned region.
  • Strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and adaptability in different clinical environments.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, or similar).

  • Same-day and pre-scheduled coverage shifts available (morning, afternoon, or full-day shifts).
