Responsibilites

The Pediatric Hospitalist Team at Dell Children’s Medical Center and the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School Department of Pediatrics are recruiting for open Pediatric Hospitalist positions. This is a great opportunity to join an outstanding group of experienced physicians providing excellent care to hospitalized children and adolescents. Pediatric Hospitalists at Dell Children’s are dedicated clinicians and educators, practicing state of the art, evidence-based medicine in robust clinical settings of acute hospital medicine, subspecialty care, complex care, surgical co-management, intermediate cardiology care, and mental health. Our institution’s growing programs and clinical service lines provide ample opportunities for Pediatric Hospitalists to serve the patients and families in our community and region.

Pediatric Hospitalists are UT Dell Medical School faculty and embrace their role as leaders in medical education through their work with students, residents and pediatric hospitalist medicine fellows. Ideal candidates should seek to further their faculty development in the areas of quality improvement, value-based care, medical education, and research through institutional, regional and national opportunities.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

  • Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) required.
