Responsibilites

Ascension Lourdes is looking for a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist for our Lourdes Radiation Oncology Practice. 

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Lourdes to provide radiation oncology services to patients in the community.

Position Highlights:

• Treatment Planning Software includes: Eclipse 16.1, Oncentra HDR, Variseed LDR, Velocity Image Fusion, Clear Check and Arc Check.
• Linear Accelerators include: TrueBeam (2017), Clinas iX (2007), TrueBeam (anticipated 2024), OSMS Surface Guidance.
• Linear Accelerator Techniques: SBRT, SRS, DIBH, APBI, Rapid Arc, IMRN, 3D, Electron.
• Brachytherapy: LDR Prostate Seeds, HDR 18 Channel Elekta Nucletron Remote Afterloader.
• CT Simulator: Phillips Large Bore, Varian RPM.
• Department Staffing: Radiation Oncologist (2 to be hired), MOA, RTTs, Simulation Tech, Dosimetrists, Chief Physicist, Remote Physicists, Department Manager, Oncology Certified Dietician and LCSW Social Worker.
• Cancer Services Support Staff: Disease Specific Nurse Navigators and Social Worker.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Physician MD/DO Board Certified and credentialed from the New York Board of Medicine. Credentialing Office will verify licensing.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
