Saint Joseph Physician Network (SJPN), has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible* Neurologist physician to join a growing practice located in Mishawaka, Indiana. This community-based practice is located in a Medical Office Building adjacent to hospital. You will join three physicians and one nurse practitioner. Each Provider sees about 10-12 patients per day. Average daily inpatient census of 5-10 neurology patients (consult only); internal medicine hospitalist service is in place.

Sub-specialty interest of Clinical Neurophysiology, Movement, Epilepsy, Headache, or Sleep Medicine are welcome. 10-15 new patients per week; new patients scheduled 6 months out. EEG/EMG procedures are done in the hospital. Call is every 4th week where you are Neuro-hospitalist and cover the ED. Inpatient only is also an option and can be discussed. This could likely be a 7 on, 7 off schedule or similar variation.

Provide professional medical services to patients and supervision of the delivery of medical services by the assigned staff of the facility. Develop operational management skills related to the practice and assist in the day-to-day supervision and transitional operation of the medical practice. This is an exciting opportunity for the right Neurology physician to be part of a growing practice.

JOB DUTIES

• Basic laboratory services are available and basic procedures may be performed.
• Opportunities for teaching exist with St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents [clinical teaching and/or supervision].
• Must adhere to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.
• Required to maintain active membership status on the medical staff of SJHS-SB and/or SJHS-Ply, with full and unrestricted privileges.
• Board Certification required within 5 years of Residency Program Completion.
