We are currently seeking one Extra-Help Physician’s Assistant with proven experience, for a part-time (20 hour per week) position in our Surgical Specialty clinics. Under general supervision, the Physician Assistant will provide health care services such as conducting complete physical examinations, developing diagnostic impressions and managing care of a variety of surgical specialties, such as Orthopedic, Musculoskeletal, General Surgery, Vascular, and Neurosurgery. The Surgical Specialty PA will primarily work in the outpatient setting, including our satellite clinics, but will have opportunities to assist in the operating room and inpatient units.

Extra help employees shall not exceed 1,040 hours of work per fiscal year. Some extra help positions are eligible for benefits under the Affordable Care Act. Extra help employees are not guaranteed permanent status at the end of the assignment.
