POPs-IC-National Consultant – Legal Expert

Description of the Assignment:  Legal Expert will provide technical support to the relevant institutions in Federation of  Bosnia and Herzegovina in order analyze existing environmental legal framework and respective laws, more precisely laws related to waste management.

Legal Expert will produce report on Environmental Laws in FBIH (all levels) including reccomendations for revision of existing or initiation of new laws (drafts of laws to be provided within the document).

The Legal Expert will collaborate closely with the Technical Expert, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to address the complex challenges of waste management legislation. Reporting directly to the project manager, the Legal Expert will work in daily collaboration with representatives from the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism.

Period of assignment/services : June – August 2024 (25 working days)
