This is an NIH grant funded position.Responsibilities:

  • Manage individual laboratory experiments as agreed upon and approved by the supervising professor, Weikang Cai, Ph.D. This includes implementing the experimental design, data collection, statistical analysis, writing, and submitting manuscripts.
  • Training and overseeing research data collection by students, lab technicians, and possibly other junior postdoctoral fellows.
  • Assisting with and writing grant proposals.
  • Attending and presenting at seminars/journal clubs.

PhD, MD, DO, DVM, DDS, or other doctoral level biomedical degree and basic Biomedical Research in molecular biology and neuroscience is required.M ust have general knowledge of molecular biology and cell biology.Strong background in neuroscience, particularly in dopaminergic neural circuits.
