The Neuro-Oncology Branch (NOB) at the National Cancer Institute’s Center for Cancer Research (CCR) is a specialized program dedicated to advancing the study and treatment of brain and central nervous system (CNS) tumors. We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) Program. This position focuses on investigating DNA repair pathways in brain tumors, with an emphasis on identifying and characterizing critical epigenetic targets through genetic and biochemical approaches. Mechanistic insights will be validated using in vitro and in vivo models, as well as patient-derived specimens. In addition, experimental therapeutics will be developed based on preliminary findings. These discoveries are expected to provide a strong foundation for future clinical translation and therapeutic applications.
