Job Description:OverviewThe medicinal chemistry team within the Center for Drug Discovery supports client needs by conducting hit-to-lead and lead optimization. We integrate medicinal chemistry into larger projects focused on drug discovery and development, including computational chemistry, in vitro assay development and HTS screening, in vivo behavioral pharmacology, ADME/PK bioanalytics, and regulatory supportWe have an immediate need for a Postdoctoral Medicinal Chemist to join an exciting and growing team. Ideally, you will be a highly-motivated and organized individual who desires a role involved in the synthesis of small molecules as ligands for various biological targets including kinases, G protein-coupled receptors, ion channels, and antimicrobial targets.At RTI, you will be provided the opportunity to conduct meaningful work in a collaborative, cross functional environment.
