As a Product Marketing Manager at EFG, you are surrounded by some of the brightest minds in gaming. Our hierarchies are flat, and your ideas and opinions are constantly in demand. As a Product Marketing Manager for Growth Titles you will be part of our Game Ecosystems team that is responsible for the development of new and creative ideas for ESL Faceit Group to work with game titles that are not part of the EFG portfolio yet, but show massive potential to contribute to the company’s goals and vision. With the introduction of Roblox and the Unreal Engine technology in Fortnite Creative there is a world of opportunities to explore and develop the digital experiences of the future. You will thus be responsible for helping us shape our UEFN strategy with regards to product offering, gamification, and go-to-market approaches. Further, you will help us develop product roadmaps and ecosystem strategies for upcoming game initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the development of business strategies and competitive roadmap for future game titles
  • Identify opportunities to improve the product quality, strategy, and business outcome together with key stakeholders across the product lifecycle
  • Lead and inspire the team & people across all departments working on your product to create the best possible outcome for our communities
  • Provide your in-depth knowledge of the Fortnite UEFN, Roblox and other gaming communities to the company
  • Understand and contextualize audience insights and behavior as well as market and technological trends to inform strategy, creative and go-to-market (GTM) development
  • Create gamification and GTM strategies for upcoming UEFN game releases together with the social media and marketing team
  • Drive the creation and development of continuous marketing campaigns that cut through and deliver impact on our brand, our business and our users
  • Help identify and shape key consumer opportunities that fuel our growth funnel
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create exciting brand and other monetization opportunities 
  • Support other product managers as necessary

Requirements

What you need:

Must-have

  • Great people skills & being a team player
  • Curiosity and open-mindedness
  • Passion for (competitive) gaming
  • Experience in creating business models and product roadmaps
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex structures / products
  • Experience in developing digital products / experiences
  • Proof of exceptional abilities in creative thinking, problem solving and building digital products / experiences
  • Deep understanding of marketing, social media and the ability to create dynamic GTM strategies for products
  • Strong understanding of the various social media platforms and how to utilize them to drive fan engagement 
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to carry out several tasks at the same time
  • English language skills, both spoken and written

Nice-to-have

  • Deep knowledge of the Fortnite UEFN, Roblox and other gaming communities (audiences, creator economy, popular game modes, etc)
  • Experience with development of UEFN and Roblox experiences
  • Experience working with influencers on medium to large scale activations
  • Braveness to push boundaries, to think big and to innovate 
  • Good storyteller
  • Broad field of interests from arts to music to gaming to sports to literature, and more
  • Experience with PowerPoint 
  • Experience in product or marketing management or roles tied to creating amazing gaming experiences
