Job Summary
Job Description
Working closely with experienced producers and production staff, you will provide essential administrative and logistical support across multiple projects, from pre-production through to closing night. You’ll liaise with freelance creatives, venues, casting teams, and the wider THP office to ensure all production processes run efficiently and on schedule.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and confident managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You should be confident producing polished internal documents, coordinating with diverse stakeholders, and managing your own workload independently. Strong communication and visual skills, including document design and formatting, are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven production assistance experience who is passionate about theatre and wants to support the creative process from an organisational perspective, while gaining exposure across a broad range of production activity.
Key Objectives
- Ensure the smooth and timely coordination of THP’s theatre productions, supporting all stages from pre-production through to final performance.
- Produce high-quality internal and external documentation, ensuring consistency, clarity, and visual polish across schedules, call sheets, packs, and presentation decks.
- Proactively manage your own workload and timelines, taking initiative and maintaining effective communication with colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the delivery of rehearsals, workshops, auditions, and press nights, acting as a key point of contact for logistics, space bookings, and artist support.
- Liaise confidently with venues, casting teams, creatives, and producers, helping to align schedules and ensure projects stay on track.
- Support and uphold a well-organised production office, including digital systems, data handling, and file management compliant with GDPR and THP processes.
