Job Summary
Job Description
In particular we are looking for a candidate who can:
Lead the planning, delivery and ongoing development of Pathways programmes, including Advanced Young Musicians (AYM), KS1 Musicianship and Friday Afternoons
Ensure clear, coherent and inclusive progression routes for children and young people across all programmes
Work in collaboration with artists and tutors to develop high-quality curricula, learning outcomes and progression frameworks
Oversee participant recruitment, assessment and progression, ensuring processes are accessible, transparent and equitable
Develop and maintain effective partnerships with schools, Music Hubs, conservatoires and other sector organisations
Oversee the delivery of rehearsals, courses, concerts and performances, ensuring a consistently high-quality participant experience
Manage programme budgets, including monitoring expenditure, forecasting costs and ensuring financial compliance
Ensure all activity is delivered in line with safeguarding, licensing, DBS and Department for Education requirements
Line manage and support staff, freelancers and artists, providing clear direction, supervision and professional development
Lead monitoring, evaluation and reporting processes, using insight and data to inform continuous programme improvement
Oversee the delivery and development of Friday Afternoons, including digital content and licensing processes
Represent Britten Pears Arts externally, building relationships and contributing to sector networks and partnerships
Support the development of youth voice and ensure programmes reflect the needs and experiences of participants
Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team culture across the organisation
