This is a new and exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O-CAP) team, a large clinical research group working to understand why mental health problems happen and how they can be best treated psychologically. The O-CAP team, led by Prof Daniel Freeman, includes clinical psychologists, virtual reality computer scientists, research assistants, DPhil students, and an administrator.

There are numerous ongoing research projects, including clinical trials, and a number of new multi-centre projects will start in 2023. We are seeking an individual to take a central role in the day-to-day management and success of these projects and play an essential part in facilitating the communication within and cohesion of the team.

The projects coordinator will have a vital role in coordinating numerous projects. This will include helping to set up and run multi-centre trials, bringing relevant stakeholders together in treatment design, supporting the day-to-day management of the team, and contributing to the decision making, delivery, and financial management of the projects.

Providing operational management in the planning and execution of multiple projects, the post-holder will demonstrate innovation and leadership when faced with challenges, hold excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to organise and motivate others. This will include a keenness to ensure people with lived experience of mental health problems are central to the conduct of research.

All applications must be received by midday on 6th February 2023.

As part of your online application, you will be required to upload a covering letter explaining how you meet the job requirements, as well as a CV and details of two referees.  For the full job specification and details of how to apply, please see the link below.
