– A leading investment firm based in Boston, MA is currently seeking an experienced and professional project/staff accountant
– A company that has been a national leader in the commercial real estate private equity industry for nearly three decades
Project/Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
– Review ongoing projects for the purpose of updating owners/managers on progress and to estimate potential profitability of these projects
– Maintaining the general ledger accounts
– Field questions from management and employees regarding project concerns
– Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Collections to ensure prompt payment of all project invoices
Project/Staff Accountant Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
– 1-3 years of accounting experience. Real estate experience a plus!
– Experience in general accounting, job costing and maintaining the general ledger
