Climate change is the big challenge of this century and young people hold the key to solving
it. Climate Ed is an exciting new charity that teaches primary school children about climate
change and empowers them to take action.
We are looking for someone highly organised with experience of working with volunteers and
schools and excellent networks across Birmingham and surroundings to co-ordinate the roll-out
of our programme across Birmingham. This role will work with volunteers, schools, local
authorities and others to ensure the successful roll-out of the programme and measurement of
results. The successful candidate will need to be based in/around Birmingham.
This role could be 14-21 hours per week depending on the amount of fundraising the role takes
on and the availability of our preferred candidate. These hours could be compressed or spread
out during the week and could reduce during school holidays if this was preferable to the
candidate. This role could grow as the programme matures in Birmingham, up to 4 days per week
depending on the success of the programme and of fundraising locally.
