The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Sales Representative / Retail Specialist role will make an impact:

  • Achieve and exceed sales performance targets within your territory (Thurgau, St. Gallen, Appenzell, Graubünden)
  • Continuously analyse sales reports (CRM etc.) and field intelligence
  • Develop and continuously review and update a thorough engagement plan focused on key customers to exceed sales goals.
  • Develop pre-call strategies and assess sales calls.
  • Utilize medical expertise to support product detailing.
  • Address customer objections and secure commitments.
  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with disease state experts, speakers or advocates.
  • Educate medical providers and staff.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Implement strategies to engage hard-to-reach customers.
  • Deliver a tailored Viatris value proposition.
  • Gather and share market intelligence to enhance team performance.
  • Execute brand and customer engagement strategies effectively.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • You have a degree in science/nursing or similar.
  • You have 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • You ideally have an existing network within the healthcare industry.
  • You are fluent in English. German or French skills would be a plus.
  • You have good negotiation and selling skills.
  • You are an analytical person and able to organise yourself.
