The University of Manchester

nearmejobs.eu

The construction industry, known for its low profit margins, high energy consumption, significant greenhouse gas emissions, and extensive waste, urgently requires a transition towards more sustainable and efficient practices. Digital transformation presents a promising solutions; however, studies showed its adoption and integration is slow and fragmented, attributed largely to a lack of cohesive strategic frameworks. This project aims to bridge this gap by developing a comprehensive framework for digital transformation, exploring effective change management strategies, quantifying the sustainability impacts of digitalisation, and assessing its economic implications. The goal is to steer the construction sector towards better sustainability and operational efficiency.
