August 2025- Immediate hires as needed throughout the 2025-2026 school year. We are an enrollment based school, we may need to hire teachers at any time throughout the year as our enrollment continues to grow.

Our Administrative Office is located in Simi Valley, CA, but most of our teachers work from home.

ABOUT iQ ACADEMY, LOS ANGELES AND THE ROVING SUBSTITUTE TEACHER POSITIONS: iQ Academy, Los Angeles delivers online/virtual home based instruction to K-12 students in California. While our schools do offer some scheduling flexibility, students are still required to complete approximately 4-6 hours of coursework daily and log attendance. We use the K12, inc. curriculum as the basis for instruction and you will teach via the Newrow/Class Connect Program. Roving Substitutes are full time employees contracted per school year. They help in all departments as needed to cover teachers out on a daily or short term basis. Roving Substitutes will also complete other duties as needed during contracted hours. REQUIRED CREDENTIAL/CERTIFICATION:

• California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit

OR

• Valid/current Preliminary/Clear/Life California Multiple/Single Subject Teaching Credential with a California English Learner Authorization (Issued by CTC)
