Job Description
Joseph Walsh Studio is currently seeking a Sales and Communications Assistant for a 6-month mission. The role is based in Marseille, but will require occasional travel to Ireland. The final 6 weeks of the mission will be in Paris.
This is a role for someone who relishes the opportunity to work in a busy, creative environment and has a clear understanding of the Studio’s vision and objectives. Reporting to the Studio’s Creative Associate, the Sales and Communications Assistant will assist all on aspects of a major Paris exhibition including programming, logistics, marketing, communications and sales. This role is suited to someone with a strong interest in art, design and architecture who is confident, self-motivated, sales driven and committed to the highest standards of quality and presentation at all times.
Job Requirements
Have a strong interest in art, design and architecture
Have marketing and communications experience including Social Media
Have experience in the luxury goods sector [desirable]
Be fluent in spoken and written English and French [essential]
Have a strong work ethic.
Have strong logistics and project management skills.
Have the ability to work on their own initiative and achieve deadlines.
Have strong attention to detail and desire to work at the highest standard.
Be flexible.
