The Lennox Independent and Tea weekly newspapers are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated outside sales representative. This is a boots on the ground position and perfect for a sales representative looking to move into a different field with vast potential and creativity. The Sales Director creates custom advertising packages that will help clients gain desired business results. We are looking for someone who understands small business owners and can connect with customers and help them achieve their business objectives through effective advertising campaigns. You’ll have a unique opportunity to sell our paid advertising base with effective digital strategies.

In this position, you will:

  • Generate revenue for the newspaper and meet monthly goals through effective outside sales techniques
  • Develop new business and create results for clients through creative and effective targeted campaigns
  • Research and build campaign solutions, including overall branding and creative approaches; ensure campaign execution meets client expectation
  • Establish trusting relationships with clients,
  • Support collection of receivables
  • Develop capabilities to produce creative and effective campaigns
