Job description

  • Leader and driver to own the value delivery for one to two pods/scrum teams. This individual will be associated with the Cards value stream at company.
  • Responsibilities include alignment with business stakeholders, partnering with cross-functional partners, and owning technical execution/successful value delivery.
  • Applying agile and lean principles, following scrum practices, coaching/training team members on Agile methodology, and continuous improvement to build high performing, self-organized teams.
  • Assist Product Manager in maintaining a healthy backlog of minimum two sprints.
  • Help identify external dependencies and assist the Product Manager in Sprint and PI planning.
  • Assist Product Manager in updating the sprint-end report after completion of each sprint.
  • Support Product Manager on release planning.
  • Lead and facilitate effective and efficient meetings including all Scrum ceremonies.
  • Remove impediments with sense of urgency to facilitate progress.
  • Assist Pod with prioritizing and managing of sprint backlog to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Shield the Pod from external interference and ensure the Pod is fully functional and productive.
  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and their Pods on deliverables.
  • Prepare and assist RTE with Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions.
  • Participate and contribute to Agile Communities of Practice.
  • Capacity planning and PI planning for the team and ensure that iterations progresses and on track

  • Builds great partnerships and relationships with globally distributed cross-functional partners (e.g. Business, Product, Technology, Design, Architecture, Legal, Compliance, et al.)
  • Possesses excellent inter-personal skills with amazing written/verbal communication skills
  • Customer centric with innovative problem-solving skills
  • Extremely organized, Goal oriented, and experienced in Data analytics as well as Financial budget/Accounting (CapEx/OpEx) principles

Education and Experience: * Bachelors Degree [Technology preferred]

  • 5+ years of experience serving as Project Manager/Scrum Master in planning and delivering software solutions, such as online and mobile user experiences, underlying transactional systems, and integrating disparate systems

Certifications [preferred] * PMI, PMI-ACP

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/ Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner

Knowledge * Banking Payments domain experience industry.Responsibilities: * Leads the software development planning and delivery process

  • Provides servant leadership and building multiple high-performing Agile scrum teams
  • Bring transparency to Business, Product and Technology organization about development and grow trust
  • Leverages tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence) to elicit and define business and technical requirements, track requirements, prioritize features, curate content, sequence deliverables into sprints, and report progress
  • Good problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor all roles on a development scrum team
