The Job

As a Product Design Engineer Here, you’ll be part of our R&D team located in Suzhou. You’ll get to:

  • Leads project team members to design power tools’ layout and structural components.
  • Works with suppliers to identify manufacturing process and quality specification for mechnical parts .
  • Carry out applications research and end users visit to ensure the correction of product definition and design.
  • Support project manager to finish prototype units and ESL/MSL build, and fully demonstrates new products’ functions and features. 
  • Monitor the state of engineering tests, implement tested units teardown and provide full solutions to failure modes.
  • Regularly update technical progress with cross-function teams and oversea design center.

The Person

  • Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical design & manufacturing & automatic, mechanical and electronic engineering or equivalent.
  • 5~8 years working experience, has power tools, household appliances or assembly industry background is preferred.
  • Familiar with the new product development & machining manufacturing process, independent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in 2D/3D design with Catia, Pro-E or UG and deal with routine works by office software. 
  • Good learning ability, clear logical thinking and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Able to communicate in English, has good presentation skills and project tasks management capabilities.
