Overview
LMI is seeking a Senior Project Manager for ERP Systems for a U.S. Army client to support activities related to the acquisition, development, and implementation of U.S. Army software programs. The Senior Project Manager for ERP Systems serves as the Government’s advisor and Subject Matter Expert for acquisition, program management, and contracting activities. Work location is primarily remote with occasional trips to the client site, Picatinny, NJ.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the project integration for an Army ERP business solution for minor and major enhancement initiatives.
- Define, plan, and manage projects (e.g., cost, schedule, and performance)
- Identify key resources and provide guidance to meet project objectives.
- Manage the interface with other divisions, stakeholders, functional sponsors, leads and execution partners
- Manage the facilitation, collection and documentation of project requirements and translate into schedules, resource estimates, budget, equipment, and facilities.
- Monitor and manage project change control, performance, risks, and facilitate resolution of issues.
- Implement and adhere to Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Project Management Lifecycle standards and practices.
- Work in a highly integrated and cross-functional environment supporting various projects, document design, processes, and configurations. This involves interfacing and coordinating with senior PEO EIS; Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), Army Commands, operational units, test agencies and centers to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Responsible for developing materials in support of acquisition approach and strategy to include timelines and milestones for FAR-based and other rapid acquisition approaches.
- Develops, drafts, and edits multiple types of program acquisition and contract documents.
- Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines to effectively assist in the implementation of program direction.
- Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, and staff coordination.
- Assist in the development and integration of risk management plans and strategies.
- Up to 10% travel expected.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Values and provides excellent customer service
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (PMP, etc.)
- MA/MS with 10 years of experience or BA/BS with 12 years of experience
- 3 years of experience managing ERP Projects, Acquisition Logistics or Integrated Product Support
- 3 years of experience working in a DoD/Army Program Management Office utilizing the acquisition process
- Active Secret clearance required
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
- DAWIA Level 3 Program Management Certification
- 3 years of experience with US Army logistics and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)
- Certification in Agile or ability to obtain within 3-4 months (e.g. may include PMP-ACP, ICP, APMG, ACI, CSM, and PSM SAFe®) and understanding of the software development process.
