JOB LOCATION

Toronto

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Analytics-intensive role within a digital consumer product or services business, particularly Video Games. Marketing Technology (MarTech) data & analytics experience is required, including digital advertising, marketing campaign performance, performance marketing, attribution techniques, mobile gaming and social networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Looker data preparation and visual analytics development
  • SQL for data analysis in complex database structures
  • R or Python for statistical analysis
  • Data exploration and analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Promote analytics across the organization by helping partner teams access valuable data and use it to drive decisions
  • Explain quantitative concepts in plain language to partners across publishing, development, and executive leadership teams
  • Create models, forecasts, and visualizations that give insight into complex systems, built on a lot of SQL queries.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 4+ years experience Analyzing the performance of internet advertising campaigns, ASO (app store optimization) or similar for large scale customers
  • Degree in quantitative analysis, statistics, data science or computer science
  • Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) experience in context of consumer/audience behavior analytics (TV, Film, Gaming, etc) also a plus
  • Worked in the gaming space across different genres and business models (AAA, subscription, free-to-play, etc)
  • Having a strong data science background with a focus on consumer behavior in digital entertainment/games.
