About the Job

The Division of Education may need Lecturers/Assistant Professors or Teaching Specialists to teach on a short-term and/or temporary basis during the 2024-2025 academic year (August 12,2024 to May 11, 2025).

The primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate courses. Some service and research activity may be expected.

Temporary, Part-Time – 9 months and less than 50% time or less than 9 months and any % time.

Salary: $33,190 – $54,880

This position will remain open until filled.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or terminal degree for Lecturer/Assistant Professor; 
  • MA/MS or BA/BS for Teaching Specialists, masters preferred. 
  • Candidates must have academic preparation appropriate to the specialized teaching field. 
  • Though clear emphasis is on successful teaching, consideration will be given to scholarly attainment or other professional recognition or distinction in the teaching field.
