The Production
Life of Pi is a 5-time Olivier Award-winning play, just finished a yearlong UK tour after a run at Wyndham’s Theatre in the West end following being originated at Sheffield Theatres in 2019. The production was praised for its on-stage diversity, skilled puppetry work and complex use of Video and Automation. The play tells the story of a teenager marooned on a lifeboat with a variety of animals (including a Bengal tiger), it is adapted from Yann Martel’s celebrated novel by Lolita Chakrabarti, with direction by Max Webster, Set and Costume Design by Tim Hatley and Puppet and Movement Direction by Finn Caldwell. Sound Design is by Carolyn Downing, Associate Sound Designers are Rob Battle and Sam Clarkson for Sound Quiet Time.

To assist the Sound No1 as directed with regard to the operation and maintenance of all sound equipment.
We are looking for a candidate with proven strong mixing abilities and UK No 2-touring experience.
We are open to providing specific equipment training and familiarisation for suitable and motivated candidates.
General Responsibilities
– To attend a two days of pre with Sound1 to learn the mix.
– To attend all get-in, fit-up and get-outs as required.
– To be responsible for and take an active part in a safe, inclusive and respectful working environment.
– Adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines of the Company.
– Any other duties as may be reasonably required in the course of your duties or as instructed by the Producers from time to time.
