Description:
The Brenham Banner-Press, an award-winning newspaper published three times a week, is seeking a knowledgeable and hard-working sports writer to join our successful team. We’re looking for someone who knows more than the score and can effectively and efficiently cover two school districts and Blinn Community College.
We’re located about halfway between Austin and Houston in beautiful and historic Washington County, the birthplace of Texas, and the home of Blue Bell Ice Cream. We’re a newspaper with increasing circulation, a dedicated staff and a proud and longstanding sports tradition. The position is open immediately.
