As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist, you will ensure accuracy on medication distribution to Omnicell; ensure removal of expired medication; assist in inventory management; assist in pharmacy audit functions; resolve or provide guidance to the hospital clinical staff; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; update the Pharmacist in Charge about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Pharmacist in Charge in maintaining the pharmacy. 

Schedule: This position will work as needed Monday through Friday day shift to cover PTO hours determined by the Pharmacist in Charge to meet pharmacy operational needs. 

About the Facility: Emerus supports Baylor Scott and White Emergency hospitals located throughout DFW including Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Aubrey, Murphy, Rockwall, Keller, Burleson and Colleyville. This position will float between the facilities to provide coverage as needed. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Texas
  • Recent experience in a hospital setting preferred, but not required
  • Omnicell and or Pyxis and EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: 

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test – Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or a blood titer proving immunity
  • Varicella – (2) documented doses or a blood titer proving immunity
  • Hep B3 Series vaccination or a blood titer proving immunity
  • TDAP within the last 10 years
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine
  • BLS Certification
