The Position

We are looking for highly motivated and exceptional university fresh graduates at the starting point of their careers, to join the the Roche StartUp Program – Pharma China Development Program (previously called Roche Pharma China Rising Star Program).

As a Management Trainee of the Roche StartUp Program – Pharma China Development Program, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to gain a breadth of experience across multiple Roche Pharma commercial functions – Customer Engagement, Medical and Market Access. You will be on an accelerated career path to becoming future leaders who will shape the company by making significant contributions to our ambitions and purpose, “Doing now what patients need next”. 

The Program has three development journeys: 1) Marketing of Customer Engagement, 2) Medical and 3) Market Access. Each development journey has a unique development goal and rotation plan. Candidate needs to apply for the specific development area in the application process, based on their career interests and educational background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow program rotation assignments to complete relevant working tasks and learning objectives in each rotation, which are identified by your rotation managers.
• Proactively contribute to the business to drive patient and customer-centric outcomes through your expertise and business knowledge
• Connect the dots as entrepreneurs to generate value, prioritize investments, and make trade-off decisions 
• Own your development to ensure you are continuously growing skills and capabilities in line with your passion and the needs of the Organization
• Projects and other tasks assigned by your business program manager.
• Have a certain level of flexibility on relocation assignments and business travel.

In the Medical development journey, you are expected to：

• Being expertise in disease areas;
• Gain evidence generation experiences;
• Develop scientific communication and KOL engagement/management skills;
• Develop strategic thinking skills; 
• Learn how to be a scientific leader and strategic partner.

Requirements

• For Medical trainee – Graduates with MD, Pharma D or PhD in medicine, pharmacy or life sciences are preferred;
• Be in the early stage of your career: you are expected to graduate between July 1st, 2024 and June 30th, 2025, with no full-time work experience yet;
