Studio Assistant

Pottery Caf Battersea is looking for a Part-Time Studio Assistant to join our small and friendly team on Northcote Road. We are looking to hire a candidate to join our Sunday team.

We are London’s original decorating studio for bisque fired pottery, and offer a relaxed environment for people to paint a mug, enjoy quality coffee, and shop our extensive range of Jellycats and Emma Bridgewater pottery.

The job primarily involves:

• giving short demonstrations to customers,
• working with a till, putting through receipts and taking payments,
• making and serving drinks from the cafe
• answering the phone, and taking bookings
• maintaining a clean and tidy studio, which includes, washing up, filling paints and stocking shelves with pottery

We are looking to fill weekend positions so you would be working every Sunday with flexibility to cover extra shifts during the weekdays, and during busy periods. Set working hours are 10:45am – 5:15pm every Sunday, with a 30minute unpaid break, so 6 hours total.

Pay is inline with National Living Wage, and dependent on age bracket:

18-20 years: £10ph

21+ years: £12.25ph
