Position Information Leeton High School has an enrolment of 460 students with 18% of the student population being of Aboriginal heritage. The school has also experienced a steady increase in EAL/D enrolments in recent years.

Specific Selection Criteria 

  1. Approval to teach English Years 7-12.
  2. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within the English faculty to develop quality teaching and learning programs.
  3. Ability to use effective classroom management skills to create a classroom environment that is engaging, inclusive and fosters a culture of high expectations.
  4. Highly developed communication skills with the ability to establish positive, respectful relationships with students, staff and families.

Conditions A relocation support package of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
