Position Information Melville High School is located on Dunghutti land in the Macleay Valley serving approximately 400 students from South West Rocks to Crescent Head with a student Aboriginal population of over 30%.
It is a comprehensive, co-educational school, with a strong focus on student growth and achievement, quality teaching, restorative practices and wellbeing.
Opportunities are provided in academic, sporting, cultural, creative and technological learning areas and programs to develop social and employment skills are a focus.
In 2021 Melville High School joined the Connected Communities Strategy which aims to improve outcomes for Aboriginal students and therefore all students.
Specific Selection Criteria
Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
