The Title III Technology Resource Teacher supports the implementation of the district’s Title III plan: to increase the English proficiency, the academic achievement and the graduation rate of all limited English proficient children.
This position is responsible for integrating technology into the English Second Language (ESL) curriculum through curricular design and staff development.
This position also provides high-quality professional development to ESL and classroom teachers of limited English proficient students with the goal of building each school’s capacity to deliver high-quality language instruction educational programs (LIEP).
This position provides leadership for ESL central office staff and teachers to implement 21st century skills and technology supported project-based learning into practice.
The position evaluates new technology and purchases equipment for LEP students that will enhance instruction and academic achievement district wide advocating for all limited English proficient students to have access to effective and emerging technologies
