Position Summary:
Teaching Assistant must attend all online live lectures or follow lectures with video recordings and material supplied for live lectures. The Teaching Assistant also manages chat line to collect questions and comments. Teaching Assistant must also review all lecture material that is posted online in MyCourses and which constitutes the entire material of the course. Teaching Assistant is responsible for monitoring the discussion board in MyCourses and answering questions about the course or referring to lecturers if necessary. Teaching Assistant helps design and manage online quizzes and exams or assignments. Serves as a link to course coordinator and instructors. Helps manage grading of exams.
Qualifications:
Must have previously taken and passed ANAT322 or equivalent course. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of Neuroendocrinology. Good organization and communication skills. Excellent skills with remote teaching and assessments. Prior Teaching Assistant experience is an asset.
Effective communication skills in English are essential.
