This posting is for a unionized contractual YEARLONG appointment that spans one (1) academic year. A Teaching Assistant is a Graduate Student employed to assist the Course Supervisor as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom environment. Teaching Assistant Positions are governed by the Collective Agreement between McGill University and the Association of Graduate Students Employed at McGill (AGSEM).

Position Summary:

This requisition is for one position, at 90 hours in F24 and 100 hours in W25, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology. Course dates are August 28, 2024 to December 4, 2024 and January 6, 2025 to April 11, 2025. Effective dates of appointment are August 28, 2024 to December 11, 2024 and January 6, 2025 to April 18, 2025.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. Student (School/Applied Child Psychology Program)
• Advanced understanding of assessment and testing materials
• Must have successfully completed this course or EDPC 682D1/D2 or equivalent
• Knowledge of French may be required
