Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Grade 4 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and younger people for those with special education and behavioural needs, and will assist in providing educational support.

Responsibilities:

• As a grade 4 TA implementing lesson plans and activities
• Assist students with alternative learning
• Provide one-on-one help to students who require additional support
• Collaborate with the teaching team to create a positive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Updating, maintaining and monitoring pupil plans

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or younger people ideally those with special education needs
• Ability to educate and engage students effectively
• Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
• Educated with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• NVQ L3 qualification or willing to work towards
