Position Summary:
Teaching Assistants will assist 1st year medical in anatomy dissections (16hrs). Teaching Assistants must demonstrate an excellent ability to teach human anatomy in the anatomy lab and and effectively guide students in abdominal dissections. Teaching Assistantsare responsible for reinforcing the laboratory rules and code of conduct in the lab, to oversee all safety precautions regarding use of all dissection tools. Teaching Assistants will also participate in the supervision and facilitation of anatomy review time (4 hours) as well as the preparation (2hrs), invigilation and grading (2 hr) of the anatomy lab exam.

January 30th (Thursday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
January 31st (Friday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
February 3rd (Monday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
February 4th (Tuesday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
February 6th (Thursday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
February 7th (Friday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
February 13th (Thursday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
February 14th (Friday): 12:30 – 2:30 pm
February 17th (Monday): 1:00 – 3:00 pm
February 18th (Tuesday): 1:00 – 3:00 pm
February 25th (Tuesday) Exam setup: Time TBD
February 26th (Wednesday) Invigilation: Time TBD
Qualifications:
Must have dissection experience and demonstrate advanced dissection skills on topics relevant to the course description. Strong knowledge of abdominal anatomy, experience with abdominal dissection and good communication skills are essential.
Effective communication skills in English are essential. Communication in French is an asset.
