Position Description:

Teaching Assistants will be responsible for guiding students through detailed cadaveric dissections of various regions of the human body. Teaching Assistants will further assist in demonstrating and discussing clinical cases in laboratory sessions. Teaching Assistants are responsible for reinforcing the laboratory rules and code of conduct in the lab, to oversee all safety precautions regarding use of all dissection tools including bone saws as well as proper use of specimen preservative solutions.

Qualifications:

Must have previous cadaveric dissection-based laboratory experience and strong knowledge in all anatomy systems of the human body. Strong dissection and effective communication skills are essential. Prior dissection-based teaching experience is an asset. Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written) are essential. Communication in French is an asset.
