We are seeking to recruit an experienced Teaching Associate to contribute to our innovative teaching. You will contribute to the coordination and delivery of teaching within the Department of Music.

As a member of the Music Composition team, you will play a key role in teaching across the Department’s undergraduate composition modules, focusing on instrumental composition and orchestration. This includes supervision of UG final year students.

You will be responsible for the delivery of face-to-face teaching, supported by online materials within a blended learning framework; undertake marking duties; provide supervision and academic tutor support to students; and undertake administrative responsibilities as required. 

As an academic tutor, you will work closely with Professional Service colleagues to signpost students to appropriate services for academic, mental health and well-being support. 

You must be based in the UK, and willing to work on campus in Sheffield to deliver teaching, attend training, meetings and other events throughout the working year.
