Job Description 

We are seeking to appoint a Teaching fellow with a passion for innovative teaching in applied and adult learning, particularly in apprenticeship programmes. This role involves teaching Level 5 Apprenticeships at a module level in areas such as Leadership, Finance, Strategy and Project Management. You will join one of the most dynamic and ambitious business schools in the world, providing an environment that supports academics in achieving the most from their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality teaching, marking and assessment to apprenticeship students
• Helping to develop the curriculum and managing modules from an academic perspective
• Leading and contributing to apprenticeship programmes
• Engaging in innovative teaching practices that enhance applied and adult learning
• Teaching students from a variety of different backgrounds and having the ability to work across industry sectors
• Provide support to other parts of the apprenticeship delivery team where appropriate to aid the progression and delivery of our programs.

Person Description 

• Teaching Excellence: Proven track record of excellent teaching at both undergraduate and master’s levels, in both pre and post-experience programmes and using blended learning
• Academic Course Management: Experience of managing modules on a program and the lifecycle from design to assessment to marking.
• Academic Course Development: An ability to work with the academic team to develop new courses, modules and assessments.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to show initiative, and take responsibility in professional activities
• Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork.
