The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Mount Allison University invites applications for a full-time nine-month teaching Instructorship in French language (August 1, 2026-April 30, 2027) at the rank of Lecturer, subject to budgetary approval. This position comes with a 3-3 teaching load. The successful candidate will be expected to teach French language courses at all undergraduate levels and to contribute to the department’s activities. The successful candidate will have an MA in French or an equivalent qualification. Native or near-native fluency in French is essential, as is experience teaching university-level French language to non-native speakers. Candidates possessing or in active pursuit of a doctorate will not be considered, as per the collective agreement with the Mount Allison Faculty Association.
