The consultant will undertake the following:
- Evaluation of the impact of WV Child sponsorship on Former RCs based on qualitative and quantitative data collected by Field Offices (FO).
- Provide an analysis and recommendations in a final report to inform the region’s/each FO’s strategic directions and the extent as to how interventions in current sponsorship programs and other future programs can be improved, grown, or continued. Additionally, this activity will provide relevant sector leaders in the region and each FO with timely and updated data that they can use for external engagement or for future programming.
- Write the following reports:
- Pilot Report Findings
- Final Report on the Profile of Former Registered Children and the Impact of WV Child Sponsorship;
- Lessons Learned Report
- Final Report for Publication
- Minimum Qualifications:
- A solid understanding of child sponsorship
- A solid understanding of humanitarian development programs in countries in East Asia (Cambodia, China, Lao PDR, Mongolia, Myanmar Thailand, and Viet Nam)
- Excellent research skills, including the ability to process and analyze large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and identify critical aspects to succinctly communicate complex subject matter (in a written and oral form) to make it accessible to wider audiences.
- Experience working remotely with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring effective consultation and engagement is achieved.
- Relevant regional experience
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
